Architecture

The system utilizes a modified commercial smart-plug as the primary power distribution and timing node. The logic-controlled output was repurposed to drive an electromechanical assembly designed to provide the necessary torque for morning curtain deployment via standard pull-cord transitions.

Structural Analysis & Failure

The system demonstrated flawless operational logic for a period of approximately 60 days. However, the assembly experienced a critical mechanical failure at the wall interface.

  • Root Cause: The mounting substrate utilized high-tack adhesive which was not rated for the cyclic mechanical stresses induced by daily load intervals.
  • Outcome: Catastrophic separation from the vertical surface, resulting in total system decommission.

Conclusion

The electronic and chronometric logic remained functional throughout the operational lifespan. Subsequent iterations will utilize mechanical fasteners and rigid brackets to ensure long-term stability under dynamic loading.
